The sins of the father are visited on his children.
It's pretty heavy stuff to think about. It could simply mean the pain in the family is passed on from one generation to another. So, if you grow up in a family that's dysfunctional, like most of us, it's easy to imagine this being true.
The question is, how do you break a "generational curse"? There are many ways to do that, but in my book, Song of the Boricua, we see how one family struggles to break free of their chains that follow them from generation to generation. Do they succeed or fail?
